I ask people questions about themselves all the time, but rarely do I take the time to answer those questions myself. Right now, though, I am going to make the time to answer my second "question" right here:
What do I dream about (doing?) What is keeping me from going for it?
-Well let’s start with one of my longest-running dreams. I’ve always wanted to have a literal dozen children of my own. Adoption would be cool, too. Stopping me? You haven’t asked me out yet, silly future-husband of mine. I don’ want to be a single parent. Hurry up! :-)
-I have also always wanted to have a room full of books. Everywhere I go I accidentally buy books and somehow always end up with scads of them, if for nothing more than to be my “friends” while I am away from home. Stopping me? Well, for one, a permanent residence… It’s not really enough just to have books in your parents’ garage. I’d love having a place of my (or our – wherever you areJ ) own to keep books and alphabetize them all the time J
-I have always wanted to “see the world.” Gradually, this has been happening for me J Starting with an endless amount of family vacations to different states – thus giving me a wanderlust desire for travel – and this past summer’s trip on my own to North Dakota – and this new “job” in Arizona, and now a trip to Mexico over Spring break. And some day, who knows - Turkmenistan, Peru, Italy??
-And…. Last but not least on my mind – I’ve always dreamed of being part of a couple. Haha. As stupid as that sounds. I see so many people out there with partners-in-crime or ministry, and even though I’ve enjoyed my time being single-in-ministry, I think I’m getting closer to the day when I’m supposed to be a partner. If that makes sense. Meh!
What do you think would happen if you only read one type of book / watched one type of movie/TV?
-you would be bored of that type.
-I think if you only read one book or watch one movie for the rest of your like. It would keep you living by the book or Acting by the movie. The other thing is that you would be living back when the book was written.
-I bet I would be very board. Maybe even be different than how I am now. I don’t think I’d want that/ I like having to watch different generas to watch like comedy, horror, and mystery. Eveything I like movies are different and people feel different about them.
-Nothing would happen well maybe it will get boring. But possibly some books will be interesting and it will take me away at the moment.
-It would probably be boring reading the same genre. Because when you read a different one each time you get interested in it then later you go back t the same genre.
-I think the world would seriously go crazy! Having to read one type of thing would be boring, If you wanted to learn about something and no other book or movie would tell you, where would you get your answer from? Besides there would definitely be no fun in watching a movie or reading a book if they were all the same, because what if you want to be different?
-Everyone knows that if you read a good book you keep on reading. And it’s the same as the movie. Keep watching it until its over.
-for me objects start to become boring over a time ...would become unbearable, and I wouldn’t be able to stay to one type of subject
-If I read and watched only one genre, it would be drama. That way I could be the ladies man. :)
-It would be so weird and boring, because I need different things to see/read in my life.
-I think it would get boring after awhile. not enough variety.
-...my life would be boring because I like different stuff.
-I would go insane and throw them in the fire!!!
-hopefully it’ll be worth if, but it has to be a good movie, nothing sappy... uhh I’d die. Haha.
-That would be okay, normal. Both types are okay for me. But I would rather watch a movie better than reading. Reading is a little boring for me.
-...it would be pretty boring because watching the same genre over and over would get tiring. And also what would happen if you were in the mood for something else?
-...I ould only read / watch horror because horror is off the hizzle lol jk but it would suck kinda cuz you can’t watch anything else. It’d get boring!!!
-Well it better be enjoyable. I don’t mind action
- I think the book / movie would get very boring. why because its only one type.
-I think it would be pretty whack-o tobacco. Naw meen jelly bean. Well first of all because that’s life. Next because ...then like, what would happend if we didn’t get it? Some people may go insane and suicidal. We wouldn’t want that. Nope, Nope, Nope, not one bit. Plus, what’s the use of ... if there’s no point or if you don’t understand it. The only thing you can’t recycle is time!
-...really boring because you get tired of it. Like me, sometimes when they play the same music on the radio, I get tired of it and sometime listen to something else like rock. But to me I think it would get boring.
-cartoon- act like a little kid.
-...If it’s just reruns then I would go crazy.
-I think that would make me feel like a weird person, because I wouldn’t know anythin about what’s going on around me.
-I would not get my romance fix [*this from a male student :) ]
-I think it would get boring!
- If that happened you would have a one-track mind. There probably wouldn’t be as much circulation of ideas / creativity. Also, probably You’d know too much about one thing. which is a good and bad thing.
-I think everyone would dislike it and get mad.
What is one thing you’ve always dreamed of? What’s stopping you from doing it?
-Coming to school on time everyday, I don’t have a vehicle of my own.
-graduating within 4 years. – gurl, and drugs.
-I always wanted to own my own car, But the only thing that’s holding me back is that money. I need a job Just to pay for my monthly bill.
-The thing I always dreamed of is having alot of tigers as a pet.
-Im wanting to be a nurse when Im older. And keeping me from doing it is maybe school. I have to finish and do it.
-One thing I dreamed of doing is being a teacher. Well really nothing is stopping me. Still in school then go to go back to school to become one. So guess I could say time is stopping more like slowing me down.
-...right now I want to visit some people that I miss What’s stopping me I haven’t found the right time hopefully soon. My boyfriend want to make that come true for me because he understands.
-I wouldn’t really know what I dreamed of doing. Because I want to be an accountant and thats where I’m heading after I graduate so I don’t really have a dream yet maybe when I get older I would probably have one.
-One thing I’ve always wanted to do was jump out of an airplane and skydive. The thing that is holding me back is fear. I love to do crazy stuff but what if the parachute never comes out? Or what if I can’t land where I need to. I don’t want to end up getting myself hurt or anything. Yup.
-I have no clue but I just let it go or some thing weird.
-I would always dream of making music, but complications come in the way, and family are always so stubborn.
-One thing I always wanted to do is go to japan and get with hot asians. I don’t have enough money for a plane ticket though.
-I’ve dreamed of going sky diving. Well nothing is stopping me. I just need a plane to jump out of.
-Well, I think it would be okay cause i would probably be use to it and that it better be enjoyable.
-the one thing that I dreamed of doing is go sky diving but we don’t have money to go do it. Ha!
-I’ve dreamed of a lot of things, but they will never happen and I can’t lie to myself by saying anything’s possible.
-umm... becoming a [???] of doing something for others. Like being a nurse but its not stopping me now.
-I dreamed of being a veterinarian but now I want to be a nurse. Nothing is stopping me because I am still in the process toward my dream.
-Going into the S.W.A.T. what’s stopping me well not at the age right now...
-umm... I have to say music....
-...travelling the world. Nothing is really stopping me from doing it, it’s just not the time to be exploring the world.
-I want to get a dirt bike So me and my friends can ride together in the back roads. The only thing that’s stopping me is. I can’t get one. I can’t afford one.
-...going to college. Whats stopping me is I have to get through high school... & figure out where I’m going.
-pro paintball, money. But man they make alot of money and sponsers.
-...going to collage for two years and then go to the Navy. Then I want to go back to collage and Finish studying law. I always dreamed of being a lawyer.
-HMMM. I’ve wanted to do billions of things, like go to the moon. But I CAN’T BECAUSE I’M A NATIVE AMERICAN (NAVAJO) AND “THEY” SAY WE CAN’T GO TO OUTTER SPACE. I’M Not suRe WHY BUT I just think “they” like to steal people’s thuNDER. MAYBE BECAUSE BACK IN THEIR DAY “THEY DIDN’ HAVE ALL THIS TECHNOLOGY STUFF. SO BASICALLY BEING A NAVAJO SUCKS. -I always dreamed of going to a NBA or NFL Game. Everything is holding me back like school, chores, and many other things. But I think that the one thing I dream of the most. but I hope lots more
-I always dream of becoming an actor. So after high school I am going to try and pursue my dream.
-One thing I’m dreaming of is getting a good, happy life.
-go to New York. my life.
-travel across the world
-flying an airplane. I can’t because I have no money. So I can’t fly at all or no license to fly anything, I’m too young and afraid of heights.
-I’ve never dreamed of doing anything. Basically everything I’ve wanted to do, I’ve already done.
-I would want to explore the world. Something like exploring ancient cities or old ruins. I would want to learn new things about ancient tribes or regions that are still unknown. It takes years to know what your doing and I don’t want to be an old lady & exploring. I would want to do those at a very early age and I don’t have time or patience to learn that fast & that much information. I’m a lazy person. I guess that’s about it.
-The most thing I dreamed of doing is acting in alot of different movies with my favorite actors, but what’s keeping me from doing it is me because i’m always shy and i get nervous alot and i’m trying to over come it so it won;t be in the way of my acting career.
-My dream is to have a dream.
-...being able to go to all my favorite band’s concerts. But I don’t live near a place where they play concerts at.
-I don’t really know. Nothing is really stopping me from doing anything.
-One thing from my list woule be to go to California and to see the ocean. Cherish that moment with my family.
-I dream of getting back my seat. Shaquilla’s stopping me.
-I would travel back in time back there are no time machine.
-....probably just to be happy, but the problem is life ain’t always going to be happy because there are a lot of obstacles.
-cannon man, and my weak structure.
-Heavy methanic (mechanic??) or join the maires (marines???) . not old enough yet. Or until I finish high school.
-There is nothing I dreamed of doing! wel I did but I always do or get it. So basicly I get what I want or dreamed! Sometimes it would have to wait but I still get it.
-...gettting a tattoo. The problem is my dad opposes the though. (I can’t because my daddy said, “NO”)
-I’ve always dreamed of getting a tattoo. But I am waiting til I get down to Phx. Its going to be professionally done. GERTY KINDA TATTOO.
-i’ve always dreamed of trying this one Carnival ride located at the Arizona state fair. It is a big bull with two seats attached to like these 100 ft. poles with bunge cords attached to it and attached to the bull it charges then shoots you up about 120 ft high while the ball spins. The thing that is stopping me is negative thoughts.
-I once dreamed about sailing on the sea because I watch Pirates of the Caribbean and it looks b-e-a-utiful when it’s night and early in the morning. Although I never really travel to places so I think I would try this later on in life.
